Dr. George Theophilou

About Me:

George Theophilou is a gynaecologist and gynaecological oncology surgeon. I qualified from ‘The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland’ in 2005. I undertook general obstetric and gynaecological in Lancashire and completed an MD in ‘Biospectroscopy towards screening and diagnosis of cancer’. I sub-specialised as a gynaecological oncology surgeon in Leeds and was appointed as a consultant at St James’s University Hospital in 2017. I am a registered colposcopist with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and a member of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS) and European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO). I am an honorary senior lecturer at Leeds University.
